Colour and balayage
Colour at Bella Rosa starts at €85 and takes two to three hours depending on your hair length and the technique you choose. We work with full colour, highlights, balayage and gloss. For a major change we always schedule a free colour consultation first.

Which colour technique suits you?
Full colour covers regrowth and grey in one go and gives an even tone from root to tip. Highlights are applied in foils and create depth and contrast; they grow out more softly than a full colour. Balayage is a freehand technique where colour is painted on, producing a natural gradation with no hard lines. A gloss is a translucent layer that refreshes your tone and adds shine; it's the cheapest way to make your hair look renewed between full appointments. In the consultation we discuss which technique suits your hair condition, how much maintenance you're willing to take on, and your budget.
Colour consultation and patch test
For a first colour appointment we schedule a 15-minute consultation. We assess your hair condition, the history of previous colour work and any at-home treatments, because these all affect the outcome. Dark coloured hair that needs to go lighter, for instance, follows a different route than virgin hair. For new clients we carry out a skin allergy test at least 48 hours before the treatment, as the manufacturer directs. This isn't legally required for every product, but it's sensible and mandatory for some brands. So book with that in mind — the test takes five minutes and is free.
